It's official, Barça makes a final decision on Neymar's return: '3 Reasons'

Laporta decides it after consulting with Flick and Deco: there is already a definitive answer to Neymar's return

Neymar has been calling FC Barcelona's offices for some time, offering his return at a very economical price. As of June 30, he will be free from the contract that ties him to Santos, and he has always been clear that he intends to return to Europe. He doesn't want to do it with just any team, because his dream is to wear Barça's jersey again until the next World Cup.

But Neymar already knows that this dream will not come true. Sport has revealed that the response from FC Barcelona has already arrived and is definitive: there is no interest in bringing him back. In recent months, his performance in Brazil has been closely monitored, but it hasn't convinced them. He has played only 9 matches since he arrived at Santos, in which he has achieved records of 3 goals and 3 assists.

These are insufficient and have led Barça to decide to reject his latest offer. Despite it being his dream, the response has been clear: "Ney, we're sorry, it won't happen".

Barça cites 3 reasons for their 'no' to Neymar

The mentioned information has been clear. For a while, his return was seriously considered by Barça, seeking a draw for the renewed Camp Nou. Neymar would have been key for this, offering a return under salary conditions that fit Laporta's new scale. But the emergence of Lamine Yamal and the good play since Hansi Flick's arrival have changed everything.

At FC Barcelona, they are clear: Lamine Yamal is the current star and of the next decade, no one can or should overshadow him. Neymar would have done so, something that was not pleasing.

Another reason is the physical problems he has continued to show during his months at Santos. He hasn't been able to play regularly, nor has he met the numbers Barça asked for in January: more than fifteen goals.

Age hasn't played in his favor either: he is already 33 years old and has been playing in less competitive championships in recent times. It hasn't been easy to say no to him, but Neymar already knows he must look for another destination if he wants to return to Europe: his return to Camp Nou is completely ruled out.
