Offer €30M for Fermín López After the Champions League: Deco Negotiates His Departure

The homegrown player continues to generate interest throughout Europe, and now a great offer has arrived from England

Manchester United has submitted a 30 million euro offer to FC Barcelona for the young midfielder Fermín López. The proposal came just hours after the first leg of the Champions League semifinals. However, the Catalan club has rejected the offer, considering the player non-transferable at this time.

Fermín, 21 years old, is having an outstanding season with Barcelona, participating in 40 matches so far and scoring 5 goals and 9 assists.

His performance has caught the attention of several European clubs, including Manchester United, which is looking to strengthen its midfield. Despite Barcelona's financial needs, the management considers Fermín a key piece for the team's future... and is not willing to sell him for the offered amount.

The English club might consider increasing its offer in the future, but for now, Barcelona keeps its stance of not selling the player. Fermín López has also expressed his desire to continue at the club and keep developing under Hansi Flick's direction

Barça's management, focused on balancing accounts and complying with financial 'fair play,' doesn't rule out making a significant sale during the summer. Meanwhile, Fermín López appears on the list of footballers with a profile in the international market. The club knows that any offer exceeding 50 million would be carefully considered, especially if it comes from a league like the English one, where financial muscle makes the difference.

Fermín López, who has fought hard to earn a spot in the first team after his time with the reserves and a loan at Linares, sees his name starting to resonate strongly outside of Spain. Although his priority has always been to succeed at Camp Nou, the club's sporting and economic circumstances could push him to make a difficult decision. In FC Barcelona's offices, a busy summer is looming, and Fermín's future is one of the topics that most concerns the blaugrana fans.

Manchester United's proposal has been rejected. 30 million is not enough to take Fermín López out of Barça.
