Deco has a lot of work to do this summer with the sports management of FC Barcelona. His goal is to maintain the level that Barça has reached this season. Hansi Flick has worked magic with a very limited group.
Despite the difficulties, Barça has competed again in all competitions and has emerged as champion of the Supercopa, Copa del Rey, and La Liga. Flick has managed to find balance in almost every area of the field. Now, Deco must follow that path from the offices.
The first reinforcement is very close: Joan García will arrive to strengthen the goal. However, the efforts are now focused on signing a winger. The favorite is Luis Díaz.

Deco needs to sell before continuing to sign
Luis Díaz is highly appreciated by Flick and Deco. However, the cost of his transfer, €85 million, means they're considering several departures. In order to sign, they first need to raise money.
Pau Víctor, Pablo Torre, and Ansu Fati already know Flick doesn't count on them. All of them have the door open to look for minutes elsewhere. Their departures, however, wouldn't bring in significant income.
That's why Deco is considering other, more profitable options. There has been talk of Ter Stegen or Araújo as possible sales if a big offer arrives, but the big surprise comes from "La Masia."
Fermín could leave if they offer €50 million
According to Culemanía, Deco would be willing to let Fermín López go, as long as a minimum offer of €50 million arrives. His sale would help unlock important signings.

Fermín has been one of the most useful resources for Flick. He has played in several midfield positions and has always performed well. However, the competition in that area is extremely high.
Pedri, Gavi, and De Jong are ahead, so Fermín knows it won't be easy to get minutes next year. Barça could take advantage of his good reputation to cash in.
His departure would be painful but strategic
No one doubts Fermín's commitment and quality, but sometimes tough decisions must be made to move forward. Deco knows this and wants to act without taking any risks.

The deal is far from closed, but if any team comes close to €50 million, anything can happen. Flick is already aware of the situation.
The summer has just begun and there will be major moves at Barça. Fermín is loved by everyone, but his departure could be the first step toward an exciting new project.
