Luis Enrique gets Barça into trouble: he takes him to Paris, crucial hours for his future

Deco's favorite may pack his bags to leave for the capital of France in a surprising move

Paris Saint-Germain intends to keep strengthening its squad after a magnificent season in which it has won the league, Champions League, and Cup. Luis Enrique has become a true leader of the Qatari-backed project and feels empowered to demand signings of vital importance. The latest puts Barça in serious trouble, directly impacting the sporting planning led by Deco for next season.

Don Balón has revealed that Luis Enrique has reactivated interest in signing Luis Díaz. He is looking for an unbalancing forward who can provide speed and creativity. The Colombian has been chosen and they won't have any problem paying the €80 million ($80 million) that Barcelona is asking for. He is under contract at Anfield until 2027 and it seems he is moving further away from Camp Nou, despite it being his favorite destination.

Luis Díaz, the chosen one by Luis Enrique

Luis Enrique has a clear objective to strengthen Paris Saint-Germain's attack: to sign Luis Díaz. The Liverpool player is one of the footballers the Asturian coach likes the most because of his speed, dribbling, defensive work rate, and competitive mentality.

As we mentioned earlier, PSG is willing to pay the €80 million ($80 million) that Liverpool is asking for... An amount that makes the footballer's arrival at FC Barcelona practically impossible, even though he is also a priority for their forward line.

Luis Díaz is under contract with Liverpool until 2027, but he wouldn't mind a change of scenery this summer. Barça, with Hansi Flick in charge, believes his profile fits perfectly with the style they want to implement in the new project. However, the economic situation of the culer club doesn't allow it to compete on equal terms with the continent's giants, especially not with a PSG that has more than enough financial muscle to take on the operation.

Nico Williams, the alternative for Barça

If the Colombian ends up in Paris, Barça already has a plan B: Nico Williams. The Spanish international from Athletic Club is highly regarded in the offices at Camp Nou, and his release clause, set at €58 million ($58 million), makes him a more affordable alternative

Nico is also being followed by other major European clubs, but at Barça they are determined to go after him if Lucho slips away. The young player would fit perfectly into Hansi Flick's system, with his ability to break lines down the left wing and his great understanding with Lamine Yamal.

The operation for the Colombian looks complicated, but Barça hasn't lost hope. Meanwhile, Luis Enrique's PSG now positions itself as the big favorite to complete the signing of Luis Díaz
