Lobo Carrasco Shakes Up El Chiringuito, Direct Message to Barça: 'It's Impossible'

The former FC Barcelona player makes a shocking statement about the possible treble

Barça Defeated Atlético at the Metropolitano 0 to 1 to Secure Their Spot in the Copa del Rey Final. Hansi Flick's team was superior to the colchoneros, keeping alive the possibility of winning all possible competitions. In the league, they are first, in the cup, they are in the final, and the path in the Champions League looks positive. Despite everything, a former player of the stature of Lobo Carrasco seems to have it clear and considers this feat impossible.

Lobo Carrasco Rules Out Barça's Treble

In his latest appearance on El Chiringuito, minutes after defeating Atlético de Madrid, Lobo Carrasco was clear. Asked by Pedrerol about the possibility of Barça winning the treble, his response left the entire set speechless: "It's impossible," he stated.

Lobo Carrasco didn't hold back, indicating: "The treble is impossible. How do you feel about that? It's impossible because we are laying the foundation for what we want to do, which is not just to win one title. In Hansi Flick's first season, achieving a treble would be an invitation for everyone who wants to compete with us."

Lobo Carrasco's indication on El Chiringuito is clear: FC Barcelona's project is under construction. Winning the treble is something complicated, and the most normal thing would be not to achieve it. If they do, it would serve to send a clear message to all rivals, pointing to Hansi Flick's project as the most ambitious in all of Europe.

FC Barcelona, Alive in All Competitions

As of today, it seems that FC Barcelona has a very positive path to win the desired treble. In the league, they are in the first position, three points ahead of Real Madrid and having to host the whites at Montjuïc. Barring a catastrophe, the goal average is more than secured: both personal and head-to-head.

In the cup, it's more of the same. Barcelona depends on themselves to win the competition, being qualified for the final of the tournament against Real Madrid. This will be played next Saturday, April 26, which will serve to repeat the matchup that took place in the Spanish Super Cup final, which ended with a culer victory.

Meanwhile, in the Champions League, they have to face Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals, being a favorable matchup on paper. If they advance, in the semi-finals they would play against the winner of Bayern/Inter, and in the final, they would face one among Arsenal, Real Madrid, PSG, or Aston Villa.
