It happened on the show El Chiringuito, which is directed and hosted by Josep Pedrerol.
The script included a question for the panelists, mostly Madridists, as always.
The point was to assess whether Barça was favored or not by Munuera Montero's decisions in the Mallorca-Barça match.
"The referee is not a doctor and should've stopped the match"
As expected, the Madridist side resorted to complaints to justify Barça's festival in Mallorca against 11, against 10, and against 9.
The question was: "Should the referee have stopped play before Ferran's goal?"
Alfredo Duro: "Obviously, and that's what a protocol states."
José Félix Díaz: "Without any doubt, because even the players stopped" (overwhelming argument about the rules).
Fernando Sanz: "The referee is not a doctor and should've stopped play." (Another strong argument).
Josep Pedrerol: "The referee clearly made a mistake"
Quim Domènech: "I don't think so, because the player was faking"
Cristóbal Soria: "Poor Raíllo, poor thing. What a headache he must have. Obviously, no."
"A disturbing mistake..."
Damián González: "A disturbing refereeing mistake, I didn't like it."
Rafa Guerrero: "He must stop the match, he doesn't know what could happen to the player. He fell after being hit by the ball and the match must be stopped, he had many seconds to think about it."
Ana Garcés: "He should've stopped play, yes."
Edu Aguirre: "I'm with Damián, disturbing"
"Did the player leave the field?"
José Álvarez: "Congratulations José Luis Munuera Montero, you avoided being deceived"
Juanfe Sanz: "Technically it's not a mistake."
Pedrerol reacts: "It's not a mistake? What's that about technically?"
It's clear that his collaborators can also make mistakes by skipping the previous script. A startled Pedrerol made this clear with that answer he didn't expect.
The answer couldn't have been clearer: "Did the player leave the field?"
"Come on, come on," was heard in the background from one of the Madridist panelists who don't accept any version other than their own.
Curious the fairness of Josep Pedrerol's show. Eight Real Madrid panelists to make their voice heard and carry more weight. One from Atlético and three from Barça.
Fair enough. Like everything related to Real Madrid.
Raíllo is public enemy number one for Real Madrid when he faces Vinícius. "Dirty tricks." Yesterday it was time to help him, poor thing, it's in the script.
