There's no doubt about it. Jota Jordi is delighted with the performance of current Barça and is rubbing his hands together for the forthcoming LaLiga Clásico. In the latest episode of El Chiringuito, after the thrashing of Bayern, the commentator got carried away. He predicted another thrashing; but this time, against Madrid.
Barça and Real Madrid will face each other next Saturday 26th at Santiago Bernabéu and Jota Jordi is clear about what will happen. Asked on El Chiringuito about the possibility of repeating the famous manita[scoring five goals against Real Madrid], his answer was blunt. "Most people imagine it right now, a five-goal win at the Bernabéu."
Jota Jordi carried on: "I see this Barça as capable, as is this Real Madrid. I'll tell you hand to heart, this Barça is suffocating you, it's far superior to all teams. With a 0-3 I'm happy, especially with 8 kids from La Masia."
Hansi Flick's Plan for the Classic
Jota Jordi is just as excited as the Barça dressing room. The intention is to go to Madrid to win El Clásico and not exactly by a narrow margin.
After beating Bayern, Hansi Flick has already set his sights on the next match, also a high-profile one: El Clásico against Real Madrid. The starting eleven is virtually decided on the table. Only the final "bout" for the remaining starting spot at Santiago Bernabéu.
Hansi Flick had originally intended to give Dani Olmo a few minutes against Bayern to complete his training after his recent injury. However, Fermín's performance has raised doubts in the German's mind. The fact is he did very well in a high-stakes match and he would consider it unfair to leave him out of the starting eleven.
In 60 minutes, Fermín had a great performance as a starter. He provided two assists for all four of FC Barcelona's goals and was very committed in his pressure on the ball. The substitution was agreed, but the reality is that Hansi Flick had many doubts when taking him off. He knew that he was destroying Bayern with his style of play.
Barça id looking forward to this match and Flick only has one issue left with the starting eleven: Fermín or Olmo. Jota Jordi is clear about it: they have to go out and destroy Real Madrid. They want to repeat the "manita".
