Jota Jordi Denounces What Happened in Barça-Girona: 'Rigged League'

The journalist from El Chiringuito has been very forceful after the latest attempted robbery of FC Barcelona

Barça keep doing their thing despite the added difficulties imposed on them. In the lastest match, they overwhelmingly defeated Girona 4 to 1, although the reality is that it was hard to get started.

There is anger, a tremendous rage also shared by Jota Jordi, a panelist on El Chiringuito. He was blunt on his X account, denouncing what happened during the first minutes of this match.

Jota Jordi didn't hold back, stating: "WE MUST LEAVE THIS RIGGED LEAGUE NOW!!!!! The league of the Madridist Tebas". The Catalan even made a request to Hansi Flick: "Get them off the field now!!! STOP THEFTS NOW".

Jota Jordi's complaint in the Barça-Girona: "Rigged league"

In this regard, Jota Jordi, like any soccer fan, didn't understand why VAR intervened to annul a clear penalty on Fermín. Using his X account again, he shared the image that leaves no doubt. To this, he added: "IN THIS RIGGED LEAGUE THEY CALLED A FOUL ON FERMÍN FOR THIS...".

Once the Barça-Girona was ending, he concluded: "They try in every way but they can't with this Barça. THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO WITH US".

Anger in Barça: It was a penalty on Fermín

Everything happened before reaching 10 minutes into the match against Girona. Pulido Santana, the referee of the match, called a foul on Fermín López. He initially did so outside the area, and during the VAR intervention, everything seemed to indicate it would end in a penalty.

When the referee was called to review the action in VAR, the general idea was that there would be a penalty. The start would have been perfect, but they didn't let this happen. Despite Fermín being brought down inside the area, they invented a non-existent foul by the Barça player, nullifying the action.

Soccer players compete for the ball in a match, with one of them trying to advance while being challenged by the defenders.

The anger is total in Barça, as Jota Jordi rightly pointed out. It was a penalty, but truly, not like the one called yesterday for Real Madrid to advance against Leganés. It seems they want to make things very difficult for Hansi Flick's team, who are flying on the field.

Despite this, they continue to do things well in LaLiga, having won this Barça-Girona (4-1) and maintaining the lead despite Madrid's continuous thefts. There are only 9 matches left, it will be challenging, and they will try to make it even more difficult.
