Joan García, Rashford and 3 more signings: Barça's plan is already confirmed

Barça is speeding up its planning with strategic signings, youth players from its reserve team, and a clear goal: to compete again

FC Barcelona has set its roadmap for the new season in motion. With the preseason in Japan finished and positive feelings in the bag, Hansi Flick is already working with the sporting management to finalize the squad. There are clear names, young players rising, and signings that excite; the plan is already confirmed.

Joan García's signing: Reinforcement between the posts

The first confirmed move is Joan García's. The Espanyol goalkeeper has been chosen as new competition for Ter Stegen. His performance in LaLiga hasn't gone unnoticed, and Barça has bet on his talent and potential.

García arrives with the idea of adding minutes in a very demanding schedule. In addition, he could be key in rotations or in case of an injury to the starter. The goal is already covered.

Rashford, a top-level bet

One of the most surprising names on the culé agenda is Marcus Rashford. The Manchester United forward isn't experiencing his best moment in England, but Barça wants to take advantage of that situation.

The operation isn't simple, but the club is working on a loan with a purchase option. Hansi Flick sees him as a game-changing player, capable of playing on the wing or as a "false '9'." His speed and finishing ability would be a top-level reinforcement for the blaugrana attack.

The young players rising: Bernal, Roony, and Gerard Martín

During the preseason in Japan, several academy players excelled brightly. The coaching staff was impressed with the performance of Marc Bernal, Roony, and Gerard Martín. That's why the club is already planning to register them with the first team.

The problem, as always, is financial "fair play." As of today, their inclusion depends on the financial adjustments that the sporting management can make. If all goes well, the three young players will be at Flick's disposal from the start of the season.

What is clear is that Barça wants to count on them. The idea is to truly integrate them, not just as fillers. They have talent, and the German coach trusts their potential.

Pending signings and necessary departures

Although the club has already made significant progress, there are still pieces to move. Barça is looking for a full-back with range and an experienced midfielder. Both signings depend on the departures that are finalized in the coming weeks.

Several players could leave the squad if a suitable offer arrives. The sales will allow the club to free up salary mass and will facilitate new additions.

The club is also working on creative formulas, such as loans with a purchase option, to keep financial balance without giving up a competitive squad.
