Javier Tebas begins his crusade against Barça: 'The insults to Balde were only heard by him'

Tebas makes it clear that a section of the stands at Bernabéu will not be closed due to the racist insults against Lamine Yamal

Javier Tebas holds a grudge against FC Barcelona. A Real Madrid partner and self-confessed Madridist, he has consistently maintained a coherent stance: always against Barça.

The registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, blocked by the League he presides over, still stings him. In fact, he has initiated legal actions to force the CSD to reverse its decision. In other words, at any moment Tebas could leave Barça without Olmo.

As expected, Tebas hasn't missed the first opportunity presented to him to exercise "sociological Madridism," defined by Joan Laporta, against Barça.

He did so during his appearance at the subcommittee on combating hate speech of the Congress's Equality Commission.

Bernabéu stand that insulted Lamine Yamal won't be closed

There, racist behaviors have emerged, like those experienced by Lamine Yamal and Raphinha at Bernabéu, for which there has been no sanction. Also, the insults received by Balde in the recent Getafe-Barça.

Regarding the insults at Bernabéu against Lamine Yamal, Tebas concluded: "Four fans have been identified, expelled from Real Madrid and we are in preliminary proceedings for them to be condemned."

No sign of closing a section of Bernabéu stand, as happens in other cases. Perhaps Florentino could get upset and Real Madrid TV could cause a stir. Better to leave it as it is.

Tebas has become very sensitive when racism is directed against Barça players. He has dodged explaining why Getafe hasn't been sanctioned, as Valencia was.

"The insults to Balde were only heard by him"

"The issue with Balde is something that only Balde heard and we have to see what happened. It was checked whether it continued or not and it seems it didn't continue. But if not, because a match director is automatically sent to the area of the field where there is," Tebas said.

Today, Balde recalled, in the press conference before Barça-Atalanta, the events in Getafe that are on their way to going unpunished:

"It was a complicated situation, I received several insults. Because 3 or 4 people insult you, you shouldn't generalize to all of Spanish football, but I think I acted well by informing."

He added: "Being called 'black of...' doesn't bother me. I am black and proud of it. But it surprises me because Getafe has a black captain."
