Huijsen tries to get under Lamine Yamal's skin in La Roja: 'Loser culés'

Lamine Yamal and Gavi, at the center of a viral joke about La Roja

Huijsen teases Lamine Yamal in La Roja: "Loser culés"

What would a national team training camp be without a bit of joking around among teammates! There's plenty of that in La Roja's camp.

In this case, the latest "prank" on social media has featured some of Spain's young players. As a result, Lamine Yamal and even Gavi got involved, even though they didn't say a word.

"Loser culés"

It all started with a post from center-back Dean Huijsen, who shared a picture with Samu Omorodion along with a funny caption: "Gavi, Lamine, and Nico, the three together. They beat us."

Up to that point, everything was normal. The funny thing is that the message had a joking tone, with laughing emojis included, and of course, social media turned it into something bigger.

Some interpreted it as mockery, and the term "loser culés" even started circulating in several fans' comments.

But, let's be honest, this isn't a cold war between Barça and Madrid. It's a joke among kids who share a locker room, inside jokes, and lots of laughs during training camps. The rivalry is set aside.

Lamine Yamal, the youngest of the group, didn't even respond. Gavi took it just as well. Those who wanted to read more into it might need to have an Aquarius and relax.

Good atmosphere among the national team's young players

A good atmosphere reigns in the national team, and if there are any rivalries, they're the usual kind: healthy, with laughter, and meant to break the routine.

When you're spending entire weeks with the same teammates, humor becomes the best training.

What this does show is that Barça has a youth academy and a presence in La Roja, and that always creates a buzz. Lamine, Cubarsí, Fermín, Gavi... these are names making a strong impression, and their teammates and rivals definitely notice.

In short: there's no drama. Just a joke that got out of hand on Twitter, like so many others. Nobody should get upset!

While some try to make a big deal out of the culé situation, everything in the national team stays the same: jokes, young talent, and a strong desire to achieve something great at the Euro Cup.
