Hansi Flick has experienced a first year in which he has revolutionized Barça. After a poor last season, the culers have won the national treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa. He has done so by using many footballers due to injuries, but it seems that there's one who hasn't been entirely satisfied. We're talking about Pablo Torre, whose numbers have been just 421 minutes spread over 14 matches (4 goals and 3 assists).
In recent statements to Sport, Pablo Torre has publicly shown his anger with Flick for the little use he has made of him this season. "We had a talk and he told me it was difficult to get minutes, I already knew that, he didn't need to tell me. But in the end, you keep hoping to make the most of every minute you can, soccer has many injuries and you have to be prepared," the Cantabrian midfielder began.

Torre didn't stop there, continuing: "I respect his decisions, but many times I haven't understood them. There was a lot of competition and it was hard to get in, but I also think that in that regard it wasn't fair and I told him so in a conversation. When I've played I've done very well and I think I've deserved much more."
Hansi Flick gets fed up: Pablo Torre has the doors open
The reality is that Hansi Flick hasn't been pleased at all with these public statements from Pablo Torre. Although they discussed it privately face to face and he hasn't said anything untrue, he believes he shouldn't have made it public. That's why, according to what Madrid-Barcelona has learned, the decision is clear: the Cantabrian will leave in the summer transfer window.
With a contract until 2026, there are two possibilities on the table for Pablo Torre. One would be his transfer, with Barça keeping a percentage of his rights plus the option to buy him back in the coming years. Even though he has played little, there is still trust that he will show all his quality and can succeed at a big club.

On the other hand, there is another route for Pablo Torre's departure. He is only 22 years old and has a long future ahead. At Barça, they're considering the possibility of renewing his contract for the coming years and looking for a loan move. On the table is the option of Racing, the club where he was developed, but there's one condition: the move would only happen if they are promoted to the top division.
What Hansi Flick is clear about is that he no longer counts on Pablo Torre, so next season he won't be part of Barça's squad.
