Guardiola exposes him: Josep Pedrerol's slip-up everyone is talking about

It's been almost 15 years since he subdued Real Madrid, and Josep Pedrerol still can't stand Pep Guardiola

"Ancelotti, Mourinho, Benítez, Del Bosque, Luis Aragonés, his father, Periko Alonso... Xabi hasn't had bad teachers, right".

This is how El Chiringuito's Josep Pedrerol began. Unlike other propagandists on his show, he actually is a journalist.

As a journalist, he knows that among the "teachers" Xabi Alonso has had, there's Pep Guardiola. He coached him for two years at Bayern Munich.

a slip-up that has gone viral on social media

But Pedrerol preferred to manipulate the information to remove the Catalan coach from the equation. Don't let reality ruin a good headline. Mentioning Guardiola ruined a great headline for Pedrerol.

This is an example of the sectarianism with which this show is run. Always serving hidden interests that seem more like they're from Real Madrid TV's line-up than from an independent space.

The slip-up has gone viral on social media. Many have discovered Josep Pedrerol today and his ability to twist reality.

Josep Pedrerol holds a grudge against Pep Guardiola. He put his beloved coach, Jose Mourinho, in his place, and they haven't forgiven him. It's been years.

From Guardiola, on Pedrerol's shows, only his failures matter. For his successes, the Catalan journalist already has his silencer ready.

resentment remains entrenched in Can Pedrerol

From Mourinho, on the other hand, who left Real Madrid after falling in the Champions League semifinals for three years, just like Barça this season, there's only room for his feats.

Fired from Chelsea, fired from Manchester United, fired from Tottenham, fired from Roma... Now he's languishing in Turkish soccer without pain or glory. For him, there's only praise on Pedrerol's show.

Guardiola must have really hurt Real Madrid for resentment to remain entrenched in Can Pedrerol. Forgetting Pep wasn't a slip-up, it was a clear example of information manipulation.

Maybe what hurts Pedrerol the most is that Xabi Alonso learned more from Guardiola in two years than from the members of his list of "teachers". He probably doesn't like at all that not a single bad word about Pep has come from Xabi Alonso's mouth.

xabi alonso owes a lot to Guardiola

As a footballer, Xabi Alonso was, under Mourinho's orders, a common hack with no other mission on the field than to dish out rough play. Guardiola brought him back, brought back the Xabi Alonso from Liverpool with Benítez. He turned him into the brain of Bayern, which is what he was more suited for than acting as a lumberjack on the field.

That still hurts Pedrerol. A slip-up that exposes him.

Surely because Pedrerol must think: "Who is Guardiola?" Logical for someone who insists on handing out Beach Balls while the real ones, the Golden ones, go to others.

That's the standard. That's the narrative.
