Barcelona's elimination in the Champions League semifinals remains a hot topic within the club. After the bitter night at the Giuseppe Meazza, indignation and frustration persist in Barça's locker room.
However, it has been one of their youngest and most controversial players, Gavi, who has launched a direct and fierce accusation on social media.
Gavi's anger
Gavi, known for his character on the field, didn't hesitate to express his discomfort publicly. The Andalusian midfielder, key this season, used Instagram to clearly show his frustration.

Through a short but forceful text, Gavi accused UEFA of preventing Barcelona from reaching the Champions League final. Gavi's message was direct and unfiltered: "It's very hard and even more knowing how close we were, culers. They didn't want us to reach that final because with the season we're having, they were scared."
These words reflect the anger felt in the locker room, especially after a match in which they consider the refereeing was unfair.
A plot against Barcelona
For Gavi, the elimination wasn't solely due to what happened on the field. The young midfielder sees in the defeat a kind of plot against Barcelona. In his message, he hinted that UEFA or certain powers wanted to stop Barça because of their great season.
"It doesn't matter how many years we've gone without winning the Champions," Gavi added. The footballer showed that his team doesn't feel defeated by the lack of titles, but by the circumstances surrounding their elimination. Moreover, he was optimistic about the future: "Even though I know it's very hard and I would like to win it every year, I'm sure we'll win it if we all stick together as we always do."
Support in the locker room
Gavi hasn't been the only Barcelona player to show his discomfort over what happened. Pedri, Araujo, Joan Laporta, and even coach Flick have joined the widespread feeling within the locker room. They all showed their indignation over Marciniak's refereeing at the Meazza, accusing him of unfair decisions.
Despite the elimination, the Barça locker room agrees: they didn't fall because of the opponent, but because of refereeing that left them without a final.
