Sentenced by Hansi Flick — He Goes from Barça to Valencia: Laporta Prepares His Sale

Valencia seeks to strengthen its forward line with a Barça player who doesn't have prominence in the team.

Barça continues with its planning and Flick has already decided on a player who will leave. The blaugrana board seeks to cash in on his sale, and Valencia CF has shown interest in acquiring his services.

Conversations between both clubs have already begun. From Mestalla, they see him as a market opportunity, although the negotiations won't be easy. His price and high salary are the main obstacles to closing the transfer.

A strategic signing for Valencia

Valencia wants to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season. Despite the difficulties in La Liga, the club is confident in securing permanence and improving the team with key signings.

Carlos Corberán has managed to improve the performance of the Valencian team, but the lack of goals remains an evident problem. Therefore, the sports management is focusing on a forward from Barça who, despite his talent, has been sidelined.

A Flick discard, but with talent

Hansi Flick has made it clear that Ansu Fati is not in his plans. The forward has gone from being one of Barcelona's greatest promises to a player without a place in the squad. This season he has barely played 186 minutes, a sign that his departure is a matter of time.

Laporta and Deco already tried to sell him in the summer of 2024 and in the past winter market, but no offer was finalized. Now, Barça has set a price of 15 million euros to close his transfer.

A complicated but possible operation

Valencia is interested in Ansu Fati, but the signing is not easy. On one hand, the Mestalla club is not in a position to pay the 15 million euros that Barça is asking for. On the other hand, the player's salary is a major obstacle: he currently earns more than 12 million euros annually, an unaffordable figure for Valencia.

For the operation to be completed, Ansu Fati will have to accept a considerable salary reduction. Also, Barça might have to be flexible with its financial demands.

An uncertain but hopeful future

Laporta knows that the sale of Ansu Fati is key to reducing the wage bill and generating income. At Valencia, his signing generates doubts but also excitement. If he manages to recover his best form, he could become a key piece in Corberán's project.

Now, everything depends on the negotiations. If Barça lowers its demands and Ansu Fati is willing to make a financial sacrifice, his arrival at Mestalla could become a reality.
