FC Barcelona continues planning its squad for next season, having finalized a departure. Pablo Torre has left one year before the end of his contract, now heading to Mallorca. The Cantabrian has turned down other important offers, considering that the Balearic team is the best destination to continue his career. After another year with few minutes, he is certain that this destination is ideal for him.

Fabrizio Romano has used his X account, formerly known as Twitter, to provide more information on the matter. After Pablo Torre communicated his intention to leave for Mallorca, Barça has sped up negotiations with the Balearic club. It has been a straightforward operation, in which both parties intended to reach an agreement for the transfer as soon as possible.
Mallorca will immediately pay 5 million euros to secure the Cantabrian's rights. However, it will not keep all his rights, as Barcelona has kept 50% of his future sale. At 22 years old, Torre has a bright future ahead and from Camp Nou, they did not want to lose track of him, making this a red line during negotiations.
In this regard, although there had been rumors to the contrary, it seems that the Catalan club will not have a buy-back option.
Mallorca has convinced him
Despite having multiple offers, both from Spain and the rest of Europe, the Cantabrian has chosen to play for Mallorca. They have convinced him with a project in which he will be a key player and which last season came close to playing in European competition.
There have been many possibilities on the table regarding Pablo Torre's future. At times, it seemed that the Catalan club intended to renew his contract and then loan him out. But in the end, they have chosen the option of his transfer, keeping half of his rights to have the opportunity to continue earning income in the near future.
