Lamine Yamal has once again taken center stage, but this time, not because of a play on the field, but because of a post on his Instagram. The young Barça star shared a story with lyrics from rapper Morad. No less than with more than 36 million followers watching.
The message didn't go unnoticed:
"I've achieved what's mine and I haven't asked anyone, and I haven't even had to humiliate myself. I've helped my own, I keep being in the street, tell me who the hell is going to take it from me."
These are powerful, direct lyrics that many have interpreted as a not-so-subtle hint. The recipient? According to several sources, Nico Williams.

Upset with Nico Williams?
The theory came up on El Chiringuito, and José Álvarez Haya strongly hinted at it. According to his interpretation, Lamine may have sent that message as a criticism of Athletic Club's winger. Why?
Because Nico, before renewing, approached the Barça locker room. He let them know that he wanted to sign for Barça. Even Lamine Yamal, everything seemed on track, but the ending was different.
Nico renewed and didn't say a word. The news reached his "friends" at Barça through a tweet from Athletic. Just like that, no explanations, no goodbyes.
Lyrics that say a lot
The choice of song wasn't random; Morad is an artist with whom Lamine identifies. Both are from La Florida, a humble neighborhood in L'Hospitalet. They share origins and style, and that phrase, at that moment, doesn't seem like a coincidence.
"I've achieved what's mine without asking, without humiliating myself." Is Lamine distancing himself from Nico and making it clear that he doesn't beg or disappear when it's not convenient for him?
Social media didn't take long to react. Many fans saw the message as an "elegant snub" to Nico Williams. Others interpreted it as a simple reflection, but most agree: there's something there.
Definitive break or just a misunderstanding?
The relationship between Lamine and Nico was good. They understood each other well on and off the field. Even at the Euros, their connection was evident, which is why this supposed hint has come as a surprise.
Is there disappointment? It seems so. Total break? It's too soon to say.
Lamine is young, but mature. He knows how to communicate without saying everything. This post is proof of that.
For now, Barça keeps looking for reinforcements and Nico Williams, at least officially, is no longer on the list. What is clear is that if there was a betrayal... Lamine has already replied. In his own way.
