Julio Maldonado, Maldini, has reflected from his knowledge of soccer, on Barça's season and its future.
He has placed special emphasis on the quality of one of its footballers who doesn't have star status in Flick's locker room. He has also warned Hansi Flick that he needs to strengthen the team, especially in the goalkeeper position and at center forward.
He has explained it this way in Mundo Maldini on social media:
"This Barça is going to mark an era, but there are things that need to improve," he started saying.
"It's the best in Spain and one of the best in the world"
"It's the first time it has won the national treble. Because when it won the sextuple with Luis Enrique, the Super Cup belonged to the following season," he added.
He has warned about the Achilles' heel of the blaugrana team this season:
"But Barça has conceded 22 goals in the last 10 matches. It's an average of more than two goals conceded per match. This can't happen," he said.
He has showered praise on Íñigo Martínez, whom he considers the best Spanish center-back and one of the best in the world.
"I also think that Íñigo Martínez is one of the best center-backs in the world. I say it like this. I've been saying for a while that he is the best Spanish center-back, but I also think he is one of the best center-backs in the world."
He has also highlighted his defensive partner: "Cubarsí is a guy who has an uncommon intelligence to play soccer."
"Barça should sign Gyokeres"
He concluded by giving Flick two pieces of advice: "A team can be bad, average, good, very good, or excellent. It's only excellent if it works well without the ball.

No matter how good you are with the ball, if you don't work well without the ball, you don't become excellent."
He has referred to the two doubts he has about the current Barça. One in the goalkeeper position. The other, the center forward.
"I have quite a few doubts with Ter Stegen for next season. Barça has to go to the market to sign a center forward. I think the man has to be Gyokeres."
