Dani Rodríguez loses his best offer at the last minute: 'His signing...'

The young Barça Atlètic player is seeking his next opportunity after an unexpected turn in his future

Dani Rodríguez, 20-year-old winger from Barça Atlètic, was eagerly awaiting the chance to make the leap to the first division. For weeks, Valencia showed interest in acquiring his services. Fran Pérez's departure to Rayo Vallecano seemed to open the door for the young blaugrana talent to continue his progression at the club from Valencia.

However, negotiations didn't progress as desired. According to Mundo Deportivo, Valencia is no longer part of the bidding. His signing doesn't fit, at this time, with the club's finances. The Valencian side must first complete other sales before making new additions, and it also prioritizes strengthening its forward line.

For Dani Rodríguez, this decision is an unexpected blow. The winger was seeking quality minutes and continuity in the first division to keep developing after a challenging year with the blaugrana reserve team.

Mallorca emerges as main option

With Valencia out of the equation, Mallorca has positioned itself as the strongest alternative. In recent days, Deco, director of football at Barça Atlètic, has kept talks with Pablo Ortells and Aritz Aduriz, representatives of the Balearic club. Among the names on the table is Dani Rodríguez, along with other possible moves such as Héctor Fort or Jan Virgili.

Mallorca's interest is firm, although the terms of the deal still need to be finalized. The "Bermellones" will have to decide whether to opt for a loan or a permanent transfer. In any case, the Balearic club sees in the culé winger a player capable of adding speed, imbalance, and creativity on the wing, something that would fit with its current system.

Recovery and return to training

Dani Rodríguez reaches this situation in the final stretch of his recovery. The winger suffered a dislocation in his right shoulder during his debut with the first team against Real Valladolid. After undergoing surgery on May 16, Barça announced that he would need between three and four months out (3-4 months).

Although he couldn't take part in the reserve team's preseason, Dani has already started training partially with his teammates. His return to the field is near, and the winger is motivated and focused on coming back at one hundred percent to seize his next opportunity in the first division.

Looking to the future

Despite this setback, Dani Rodríguez keeps his options open to keep growing. His talent makes him an asset for Barça Atlètic, and his future depends on Mallorca. Patience and determination will be key for the winger to fulfill his dream of establishing himself in professional soccer.

The young player knows that every opportunity counts and that, although Valencia's door has closed, there are still paths to continue his career. His priority is to play, improve, and prove that he can shine in the first division, at Mallorca or wherever they trust him.
