Barcelona keeps bringing in money to strengthen its squad this summer. Past agreements are gradually bringing money into the culer coffers, as is the case with Ludovit Reis. The 25-year-old German midfielder will leave Hamburg after four seasons there, having arrived on a free transfer in 2021 from Barça, which kept a percentage of his future sale.
In recent hours, Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reported on his X account, formerly known as Twitter, that Ludovit Reis will be transferred to Brugge. He will do so for a fee of €6 million, which has been very well received at Barcelona, especially by sporting director Deco.
Ludovit Reis brings money to Barça
In 2021, Barça let Ludovit Reis leave completely free of charge, but kept 25% of a hypothetical future sale. This means that, of those €6 million to be paid by Brugge, €1.5 million will end up going to the blaugrana coffers.

At a time of maximum financial need to make important signings, even a small amount is well received at Barcelona. Reis, at 25 years old, has never shown the signs of improvement that were desired at La Masia, having been signed for €3.25 million in 2019.
Although money has been lost in this operation, these €1.5 million have been greatly celebrated by Deco. Ludovit Reis won't be the only one to keep bringing in millions, although it will be necessary to wait...
Ludovit Reis, a career far from Barcelona
At 25 years old, Ludovit Reis has once again put himself on the European stage thanks to his great performance at Hamburg. The Dutch midfielder of Slovak origin, but born in Germany, has completed four seasons at a very high level at the historic German club, playing 129 matches and recording 20 goals and 13 assists. This consistency and growth have attracted the attention of several top-level teams.
At Can Barça, they don't forget his brief time at La Masia. Reis joined the blaugrana reserve team in 2019 from Groningen and played 25 matches with Barça Atlètic, providing two assists before going out on loan and, finally, terminating his contract. Now, his name is once again being mentioned in blaugrana circles.
The midfielder has established himself as a complete player: physical presence, good ball distribution, and the ability to arrive from the second line. His versatility allows him to play both as a pivot and as an interior midfielder. Now, he will continue his career in Belgium, wearing Brugge's jersey, thus definitively saying goodbye to Barça.
