Shocking twist on El Chiringuito. Who will win the Ballon d'Or? and the answer is...

Surprising responses among the panelists of the Madridist program hosted by Josep Pedrerol

Josep Pedrerol's question to his panelists wasn't who is going to win the Ballon d'Or, but who do you want to win it. He posed it last night on the show El Chiringuito on Atresmedia.

Here were the answers:

Alfredo Duro: "A player born in Spain, in Getafe, Achraf Hakimi"

Roberto Morales: "Lamine Yamal"

Javi Balboa: "Hakimi"

Josep Pedrerol: "Lamine Yamal, I'd like that"

Jorge D´Alessandro: "The best player in the world, Pedri"

Jota Jordi: "Lamine Yamal, the best in the world right now"

Javier de Miguel: "The one who's going to win it in the next ten years, Lamine Yamal"

Damián González: "Lamine Yamal"

Ana Garcés: "Few doubts, Lamine Yamal"

José Álvarez: "My heart says Lamine, but my head says Pedri"

Edu Aguirre: "The one who's won everything, Dembélé"

Alex Silvestre: "The one who does things nobody else does, Lamine"

Juanfe Sanz: "He's not going to win it, but Lamine"

Real Madrid panelists vote for anyone who's not from Barça

A vote that requires analysis considering the Madridist parameters that guide the show hosted and directed by Josep Pedrerol.

Edu Aguirre's religion prevents him from voting for anything favorable to Barça, even if it is fair | El Chiringuito, Madrid-Barcelona

13 votes: 10 for Barça players. 2 for Pedri and 8 for Lamine Yamal.

Barça supporters voted for one of the two. The neutrals, who aren't Barça supporters, did as well.

Only the radical Madridist sector (Duro, Balboa, Aguirre) distanced themselves from the general vote. It's the result of their history of creating virtual and parallel realities that fit their wishes and dreams better.

Last year they suffered a setback with Vinícius, who received the Beach Ballon in every stadium. Along the way, the desired Ballon d'Or for their propagandists was left behind.

Alfredo Duro and Edu Aguirre, as expected, vote for anyone who's not from Barça. In this case, Hakimi and Dembélé.

One votes for the "Spaniard" from Getafe who refused to be Spanish rather than a true Spaniard who defends La Roja.

It's the usual in these cases. Patriotism is set aside when Real Madrid... or Barça are involved.

The other votes for Dembélé because "he's won everything." Nothing to do with Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the Ballon d'Or in 2014 without winning absolutely anything.

That's Edu Aguirre's criteria.

But it's striking that a radical Real Madrid show like El Chiringuito is able to reason that the best players of last season were Barça's and not Real Madrid's.

Curious. At least it's new.
