A few days before the deadline, the Higher Sports Council has upheld the appeal this Thursday regarding the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. After studying both cases, it has been decided that both players can remain registered in LaLiga until the end of the current season. This is a significant relief for Barça, which will be able to continue relying on its footballers until the campaign ends.
The CSD Sides with Barça: Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor Registered
In this regard, the CSD has pointed out that "with this resolution, both players maintain their licenses in force. This is because the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has also acknowledged in its allegations that “there is no federative resolution that agreed to the cancellation of the licenses,” a circumstance required by the RFEF itself in its resolution of June 30, 2022."

"In any case, the professional careers of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor have been protected since January 8 by the urgent precautionary measure granted by the CSD with the sole interest of preventing irreparable damage until the resolution of this procedure," it continued.
Laporta Won't Stay Silent: There's a Black Hand Against Barça
Joan Laporta had lunch with Enrique Cerezo at the De María restaurant, during the fraternal meal of the Atlético and Barça boards. Before entering the restaurant, he offered the club's version of the latest from Javier Tebas.
"Regarding the League's document, let me tell you that we see it as another attempt to damage the club's image. And to go against FC Barcelona's interests. Obviously, the club will respond through the legal services, which are thoroughly reviewing the League's document. We will respond in the most forceful way necessary."
Laporta added that "three months ago I already said that the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor had been done correctly. And following each and every one of the requirements demanded by the RFEF and La Liga, and that remains valid.
I have the feeling that this is not by chance. Today we are playing a final, and I hope it will be a great show. That controversies of this type are reactivated is not by chance; it's another attempt to destabilize our team.
The feeling is that since they can't beat us on the field, they try in the offices. As Barça's president, I won't allow it."
Finally, the CSD has ended up siding with Barça. Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor remain registered in LaLiga until the end of the season, and Javier Tebas will have to keep crying out to the heavens.
