Lamine Yamal has celebrated his coming of age with news that no one expected

Lamine Yamal keeps surprising both locals and outsiders. Days after turning 18, Barça's forward has made a decision nobody expected. He has decided to swap Barcelona for Cuenca for a clear reason: to get his driver's license as soon as possible.

The winger for the culer team wants to quickly settle this matter so he can move freely wherever and whenever he wants. That's why he has started taking classes at the driving school. However, the surprise has come from the place where he'll get his driver's license: Cuenca.

He'll do it more specifically at Cañada driving school, one of the most famous in all of Spain. There's a reason for this: that's where the country's top celebrities go to get their driver's license. The latest to join this long list is Lamine Yamal, who hopes to reduce the number of days as much as possible to get the famous "L".

Why do celebrities get their license in Cuenca?

Lamine Yamal isn't the only Spanish celebrity who has decided to get their license in Cuenca. The list is long. It includes singers such as Lola Índigo and Quevedo, as well as actor Paco León and TV collaborator Belén Esteban.

In this case, Cañada driving school, where Lamine Yamal is enrolled, offers intensive courses to get the license in just 15 days. This is something that has caught the attention of the Barça player, who wants to settle this matter as soon as possible.

This is possible with a very simple method. In eight days, they assure you can get the theoretical driver's license, while for the practical part you'd only need seven. The schedules are intensive: classes from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with two hours for lunch, and then from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
