Barça Loses to LaLiga's Lynching. Laporta Will Have to Pay with His Own Assets

New setback in the courts. The judicial route doesn't allow registering Dani Olmo starting January 1.

Barcelona's second judicial attempt has ended just like the first one: a total failure. The Court of First Instance No. 47 has dismissed Barcelona's request to register Dani Olmo.

The court ruling aligns with the previous one released last Friday.

Olmo is Disqualified Starting January 1

Barça had requested precautionary measures from the judge so that Dani Olmo could be registered in the Professional Football League until June 30, 2025.

It is important to remember that if the judge didn't grant the precautionary measure, Dani Olmo was going to be disqualified from playing LaLiga with Barça starting January 1.

Additionally, according to his contract, he may be free to sign with whoever he wants.

The judge listened to both parties—La Liga and Barça—and decided to deny the precautionary measures requested by the blaugrana club.

Olmo won't be able to be registered in LaLiga to continue playing in the national competition. The accounts of the club are missing 60 million.

The option remains—it wouldn't be the first time it is used—for Joan Laporta and his directors to guarantee with their personal assets the amount that needs to be covered.

The Three Clubs That Have Acted Ruthlessly against Barça

Laporta has lost the legal battle with LaLiga and, more specifically, with Atlético de Madrid, Athletic de Bilbao, and Sevilla.

The three clubs have shown an extremely belligerent attitude  from the beginning, seeking the maximum harm in the offices for Barça. They've succeeded.

Laporta has lost again at court, something that should be his specialty due to his profession. Now he'll have to beg Dani Olmo not to leave Barça with the freedom letter in his pocket.

He must guarantee, once again, to balance the deficit numbers of his management. A year away from ending the presidential term, Joan Laporta's second presidential stage could end disastrously.

Motion of No Confidence Due to the Club's Image to the World?

The opposition, led by Víctor Font, is preparing a strategy to follow and the possibility of a motion of no confidence to end Laporta's financial irregularities is not ruled out.

Barça's image before the world has suffered an irreparable stain. The team loses on the field and its president in the courts. Barça is unable to register its transfers.

Laporta even boasted that there would be no problems registering Olmo; he even said the club could sign whoever it wanted. There was talk of selling VIP seats, advertising on shorts, and other options to solve the situation.
