Barça has gotten back at Atlético, winning against the Colchoneros for the first time this season. They did it in stoppage time, with Lamine Yamal and Ferran turning around the initial 2-0 in the final moments.
So far, there have been three matches played between the two in LaLiga and the Copa del Rey. The balance has been evened, with one win, two draws, and one loss.
The first half started off great, with Lamine Yamal causing trouble but missing a great chance. Barça had a strong first 15 minutes, with opportunities to take the lead. But after the first quarter-hour, Atlético came alive, taking the lead through Julián Álvarez at the last moment, just before halftime.

In the second half, Hansi Flick tried to give the team a different touch, although it was Atlético who extended their lead. Sorloth scored the 2-0 in the 70th minute, preceded by clear handball by Rodrigo de Paul that the referee didn't call.
Despite this, Barça didn't give up, immediately closing the gap with Lewandowski. A few minutes later, it was Ferran Torres coming off the bench who scored the 2-2.
Lamine Yamal appeared in the final moments, shooting and taking advantage of a rebound to give Barça Hansi Flick the 3 points. Ferran Torres sealed the result in the final seconds with the 2-4.
Hansi Flick points out the big goal: "We're going to..."
Winning in the final moments, it could be said that Barça has gotten back at their nemesis, Atlético. Three matches and the first victory, with Madrid getting good results even when they didn't deserve it. This changes everything for the German, who pointed out the big goal in the locker room tunnels: "We're going for La Liga".
With this victory against Atlético, Barça regains the lead in the competition even having played one less match. The balance is 60 points in 27 matches played. The same as Real Madrid, with one more match, and four more than the colchoneros.

It's not a three-point victory; this one counts double. Moreover, it points the way to defeating Atlético in the return leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals. At times, it looked terrible, but Hansi Flick's team knew and managed to turn it around.
