45+10M€. Laporta studies the offer carefully, but he asks PSG for more for its star

Luis Enrique demands the signing of a Barça star to achieve balance in PSG's play

The economic tension continues to define the summer at Can Barça. Incoming transfers are being affected by fair play limits and the need to free up the wage bill. In the midst of this context, an offer has emerged that has shaken the club's offices.

The proposal hasn't come for Lamine Yamal, nor for Araújo, not even for Pedri. The interest comes from Paris, and the target is one of the players who has grown the most this past season under Hansi Flick's leadership: Fermín López.

PSG wants to take advantage of the situation. But Laporta isn't willing to give anyone away.

Luis Enrique has requested him personally

According to sources close to the negotiation accessed by MB, the main supporter of the deal is Luis Enrique. PSG's Asturian coach has been clear with Al-Khelaifi: he wants Fermín as a key piece for its midfield.

He likes his ability to get forward, his energy, and his instinct for scoring. For PSG, it would be like getting a new version of Marco Verratti.

Aware of Barça's financial problems, the Qatari president has put an initial proposal on the table. The initial figure: €45 million guaranteed plus €10 million in add-ons. An offer that, in any other context, would have sparked internal debate.

But that's not the case. Laporta is clear about it.

Laporta stands firm: not for less than 80

The blaugrana president has replied firmly. Fermín isn't for sale, but if someone wants to take him from Barça, they'll have to get close to €100 million. There are no discounts.

They're not going to sell off one of the Spanish players with the greatest potential.

The club's position is clear: they won't listen to anything below €80 million. In fact, the only figure that could set the exit operation in motion would be an offer close to €100 million.

That amount would indeed provide significant relief for the club's finances and allow new registrations.

Meanwhile, Fermín keeps training as usual. He hasn't asked to leave and is focused on preseason with Flick. However, he's aware that his name has entered the transfer market discussions.

All but one: Lamine is the only untouchable

Laporta has been clear from day one. There's only one player at Barça who isn't for sale under any circumstances: Lamine Yamal. The rest, if an irresistible offer arrives, can be considered.

The door isn't closed. But it's not open either. The ball is now in PSG's court.

If they really want Fermín, they'll have to make an effort that matches what the player represents for Barça. Because nothing is given away here anymore.
